The Irish O'Patch

Lucky Irish Maple Shamrock PatchThe Lucky Irish 4 Leaf Clover Shamrock patch from the IT-patches section is the subject of today's post. I'm not sure if there are any Irish-based motorcycle clubs out there, but if there are, this patch needs to be a standard part of your colors. At 3" it's large enough to be seen but not so big as to take up too much space on your vest or jacket. It features a bright green  Shamrock bordered in black with the words "Lucky Irish."

You probably wouldn't sew this one on the back of your jacket because of its size. But it would fit perfectly on the shoulder, a sleeve, or on the front. Personally, I'm partial to the very top of the sleeve because it just seems to be perfect for that spot. In fact, one on each sleeve would look pretty awesome. There's a similar patch at The Cheap Place with just the Shamrock and no lettering, so you could get one of each and do a Pittsburgh Steelers kind of thing: the lettering on one side and no lettering on the other.

Even if you're not a biker this patch is perfect for the green vest you wear on St. Patrick's Day. You can also attach it to a hat, a T-shirt, a backpack, or even your favorite pair of jeans. With the exception of leather, it can be attached to most things simply by applying it with a hot iron. So display your Irish pride, get one today!
