This Georgia Patch looks Peachy!

Georgia PatchIs Georgia your home state?  If you come from the Peach State, or if it's your adopted home, you'll want to add a Georgia Patch to your jacket or vest.  These State Rockers Patches are arched so they fit nicely on your shoulder or on the front of a vest.  They measure 4 by 1.75 and feature the name of each state in bold white letters.  While it doesn't feature a peach on it, this patch representing the Peach State is perfect for anyone from Georgia.

Georgia sits between Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee.  The state features everything from mountains (the Blue Ridge Mountains) to foothills, rivers, and a coastal plain.  Georgia was the last of the Thirteen Colonies to be founded, although it was the fourth to ratify the Constitution.  It would also later become one of the seven original Confederate States to secede from the Union at the beginning of the Civil War.

Named after King George II, Georgia is one of the most populous states in the U.S.  It has also been one of the fastest growing.  Many people flock to Atlanta, the capital and largest city in the state.  The city is home to many huge companies, including Coca Cola, Home Depot, UPS, Aflac, and Delta Air Lines.  The first U.S. Kia Motors plant was built in Georgia in 2009.  Many textile companies and produce companies are also based in Georgia.  While peaches are certainly a popular fruit, the state actually produces more pecans than any other region in the world.

Georgia has a number of different attractions, including casinos, several museums, and a number of different sports teams.  Many people also visit to see the plantations and to visit locations featured in the popular novel and movie Gone with the Wind.
