This Patch Is Somewhat Ironic

we kill for peace PatchIf you served in the Vietnam War, you may be looking for a patch or two to add to your jacket signifying that you're a veteran of this conflict.  There are a number of different options out there.  Some simply say Veteran of Vietnam or something similar, while others are large, colorful patches depicting war and list the dates of Vietnam.  Then there are a few humorous patches like the We Kill For Peach Patch.  It features an image of a skull with a large gun.  It's definitely not your standard Veterans Patch, but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

While it sounds like an oxymoron, the idea of killing for peach really does seem to be what wars are.  Armies go up against each other and people are killed to protect freedoms and the peace.  War usually isn't what people want, but sometimes, you do have to kill to protect the rights and freedoms of others.  Vietnam and the World Wars were certainly based on this idea.  While some people say that killing for peace defeats the purpose, the rest of us know that sometimes, you've just got to take out the bullies in order for everyone else to be safe.

This Veteran's Patch measures three inches across and 2.5 inches high.  It's slightly different from most patches in that the background is actually more of a brown color than black, which is standard for patches.  This means the black die cut borders stand out and create more of a frame.  The white text also stands out really well on this background.

You can sew or iron this patch on to a variety of different types of materials and clothing, including canvas belts, hats, and bags.
