Iron on Instructions: Use a Heat Press for 30 seconds set at 280 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Tips for Ironing on Patch: Plug in iron. Crank it to highest setting. Place iron on top of your garment with a frying pan thermometer sandwiched between iron and garment to start the preheating process. Once temperature reaches 280 Degrees Fahrenheit unplug your iron. Temperature will continue to rise and then start to decline. Once it declines to 280 Degrees Fahrenheit, Slide the iron, place your patch and press the iron on top of your patch as hard as you can for 30 seconds without moving the iron around. Do not mess with the patch until it has completely cooled down. A household iron will not work as good as a heat press. Do not iron on patches to Leather or Nylon. Watch Video

Are you a fan of both gnarly reptiles and firearms? Because if you are, we have an embroidered patch perfect for you. It's the Alligator Shotgun patch, and it's a ton of visual fun in a package that measures just 3.2x4 inches.

It could be that the patch's designer intended for it to look ominous and threatening. We don't know. But we think it's more likely to make you smile than shudder in your boots. It is almost as though the alligator is smiling (in a rather pleasant way) while he's pointing a shotgun at you.

Another thing about this patch that sticks out is the dominant green color. It is not unusual to see different colors in embroidered patches, but we don't see a lot of green for some reason. Sew this patch to a jacket or vest and it's sure to stand out. We would almost guarantee it.

As for the image itself, it's just what you'd expect from a quality patch maker. Multiple shades of green give the not-so-menacing alligator definition and tone. The look on his face offers a glimpse into his character. As for the idea of depicting an alligator holding a shotgun and smiling, it's classic personification. We see it all the time.

The entire image is bordered in black. In fact, the border is kind of thick in some places. This isn't a bad thing if you're going to sew the patch on. You have plenty of room to hide a black thread all the way around.

Alligators bearing firearms are not normal fare for embroidered patches. So in that sense, this one is somewhat unique. If reptiles and guns are two of your favorite things, we recommend you get your hands on this one. And if you have friends, buy extras for them.
