Iron on Instructions: Use a Heat Press for 30 seconds set at 285 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Tips for Ironing on Patch: Plug in iron. Crank it to highest setting. Place iron on top of your garment with a frying pan thermometer sandwiched between iron and garment to start the preheating process. Once temperature reaches 280 Degrees Fahrenheit unplug your iron. Temperature will continue to rise and then start to decline. Once it declines to 280 Degrees Fahrenheit, Slide the iron, place your patch and press the iron on top of your patch as hard as you can for 30 seconds without moving the iron around. Do not mess with the patch until it has completely cooled down. A household iron will not work as good as a heat press. Do not iron on patches to Leather or Nylon. Watch Video

Imagine riding your bike along the Pacific Coast Highway in California. If you live on the East Coast, you might imagine US-1 as it runs down the east side of the state of Florida. In either case, you are bound to see plenty of sand, water, and palm trees in your imagination. It's the stuff of biker dreams.

The Sea and Palms Sunset iron-on patch attempts to capture that imagery in a 3 x 3-inch embroidered patch. The predominant color here is blue, so it's really about the sea. We recommend this one to anyone who appreciates a good seaside setting.

An interesting aspect of this piece is its use of yellow thread. For whatever reason, you don't see a lot of yellow in the biker patch world. But here, it fits. What other color would you make the sun? Including a yellow border completes the image and ties the frame to the sunset. It is a fantastic design that we think has a lot of visual appeal.

As with all our embroidered patches, the Sea and Palms Sunset patch can be applied to cotton, denim, and similar materials with a heat press or iron. Never use heat to apply patches to nylon or leather, though. Use needle and thread to avoid heat damage.

Whether you sew the patch on or take advantage of the heat-activated glue, make sure that you get it secure all the way around. A secure patch is less likely to curl at the edges. It will also stay in place longer.
