If you're an Air Force member, veteran, or supporter, there are a lot of different pins you can add to your jacket to show your support. One favorite is the Air Force Eagle Pin. It features a large eagle head with the U.S. Air Force logo beside it. The words 'Protectors of Freedom' are included on the pin to remind everyone just how much our air force does for us.
Like many pins you'll find on The Cheap Place, this eagle pin isn't a flat pin. It has a 3D look and feel to it, parts are raised, such as the brown lines between the eagle's feathers. These types of pins are easier to see and look better than flat pins. They also don't scratch as easily. The Air Force Eagle Pin measures 1.25 inches high and one inch wide. The pin fastens in place with a standard clutch backing.
The Air Force logo featured on the pin is a somewhat simplified version of the official logo. It doesn't include the full text in the outer circle (it simplifies it to 'United States Air Force'). However, the eagle above the shield on the inside of the circle is fairly accurate. It's as close as you can get with a pin this small. The actual seal is pretty detailed and has a number of different colors on it, while the pin only uses white, blue, silver, and brown.
