Britain’s King George VI awarded the now famous George Cross to Malta, then a British colony, for the heroism and gallantry its people demonstrated while under siege during the early stages of World War II. The cross went on to be incorporated into Malta's flag. The same cross plays a prominent role in the design of our Maltese Skull large back patch.



Of course, the skull is the most prominent feature here. That's by design. A nasty-looking skull with large, feathered wings and angry eyes clearly says the person wearing it isn't fooling around. Adding the Maltese version of the George Cross is just a subtle hint to keep your distance.



Meanwhile, the spider webs and chains only increase the danger factor. They make the skull more menacing the longer you look at it. You don't know why; you just know that it looks nasty. So much so that it's better to have this patch on your back than run into someone else who already has it.

We started carrying a variety of sizes of peel and stick hook backings to convert your iron on patches to hook back patches. You can add these hook backings to your order and stick them on your patches to use them as hook and loop patches. Please note we only sell hook and loop backings separately. If you need both please order loop backing as well which is available in a 4x8 peel and stick fabric which can be cut to size. The hook backings go on the patches. Loop backings should be sewn on to your jacket.

Couple of new patches arrived this week. Take a look at this beautiful embroidery work on this Ape with a cigar in his mouth. Designed by Arturo Vilmenay, the patch is embroidered in different shades of brown. The ape is wearing a brown head wrap with skull and cross bones. There is a small version for it as well. Just a little more! Daytona Bike Week 2022 will officially kick off Friday March 4th and go on for the next 10 days! Hope you can make it to the party down here in Daytona. Save on Patches with our auto sales. Whenever a patch's sale performance drops we automatically put it on sale for a week. We create sales daily. Always take a look at what's on sale and save products that you regularly buy so you can get a sales notification whenever it goes on sale.

We regretfully like to inform all our international customers that shipping patches in stamped envelopes is no longer available. USPS has made some rule changes and they do not allow commercial merchandize to be shipped by stamped letter mail anymore. We apologize for the inconvenience. The minimum shipping charge for a package to ship internationally is about $15. We realize it sucks having to pay this much for a small $4 patch. We can only recommend that you purchase more items to make it economically feasible. Shipping of 1 ounce is the same price as shipping 8 ounces using USPS International First Class Packages.
