Stocking up for Summer

Now that Daytona Bike Week is almost a month in the dust lots of bikers are making plans to attend the other rallies this year. There's Sturgis in August, Laconia in June, and a handful of others that will attract bikers from all over the country. If you're going, it might be a good idea to purchase a good collection of embroidered patches you can take with you to trade. Might I suggest visiting The Cheap Place and browsing through their stock patches of past motorcycle events?

They have patches from the best-known rallies going back many years. For example, just the three rallies I mentioned in the previous paragraph are all represented with official event patches as well as commemorative pieces from as far back as the 1980s in some cases. They've got patches from Myrtle Beach, Biketoberfest, and even Laughlin and Red River. Some of their rally patches are pretty valuable to collectors; if not for their monetary value then at least for the memories.

The best part is the fact that prices at The Cheap Place are really pretty reasonable. For just a few dollars per patch you can get a whole bunch that could earn you some good trades at the rallies. You can even get some stock patches to add to your own collection or give to your friends or fellow club members. And if you're real creative, you even design a custom patch that nobody else has at this summer's rallies. The Cheap Place will be happy to take your design and make you your very own patch. Get a couple dozen of those and see what you can trade for them - you might be surprised.

Spring is here, fellow bikers, and that means rallies. Here's to a great 2012 season!
