Firefighters, this Cool Patch is for You

FIRE DEPT. PatchFirefighters often wear patches as part of their official uniform, but if you'd like to add a patch or two to your off-duty outfits, The Cheap Place has a number of great options for you in the Firemen Patches category.  One of these awesome firefighter patches is the Fire Department Patch for Firemen.  This small patch is perfect for putting on the sleeve of a jacket or the front of a vest.  It features a number of images traditionally associated with firemen and their job.

This patch is done in the shape of the Cross of Saint Florian, which is very similar to a Maltese Cross.  Saint Florian is considered the patron saint of firefighters.  It is featured on the logo of the International Association of Fire Fighters and the logo of several different fire departments, including the New York City Fire Department.  The top and bottom part of the cross says 'Fire' and 'Dept'.  On the left side is a fire hydrant, while on the right is a ladder.  The center contains the image of the pole, hate, axe, and ladder.  These background is in red, while the items and some of the outlining is yellow.  It looks awesome, especially when it's put on a dark background.

If you're a firefighter and proud of it, you'll want to add this patch to your jacket or vest.  It measures three inches by three inches, so it will fit on almost anything.  You can sew it on to your leather clothing since it has thick black borders around it, or you can iron it on to other materials.  Want one of these patches for your entire department?  Order wholesale patches and save money!
