Rocker Patches Are Cool Too!

Lone Wolf Flag Rocker PatchThe subject of today's post is of the Lone Wolf Flag Rocker patch. It comes in two different "flavors" if you will; you can see them both in the Lone the Wolf Patches section. The reason I decided to write about them today is because we rarely discuss rocker patches. Yet they can be just as cool as anything else, especially if you match them with the right back patch.

Just to clear up any confusion, a rocker patch looks like a slightly curved banner. It's designed to be used as an accent either above or below another patch. Big rockers are intended to be used with back patches while smaller rockers can be placed on the shoulder or the front of the jacket. In this case, the rocker is ideal with an intimidating lone wolf back patch. Not to worry, The Cheap Place as several of them.

Regarding the two flavors I spoke of, one is accented with the American flag on either end while the other uses the Confederate flag. Depending on your state of origin you might choose accordingly. Then again, you may simply sympathize with the other side. Either way, you'll probably need to use needle and thread to attach these because they can be rather heavy. If you want to try using a hot iron to activate the glue on the backing you can - it'll work with just about any kind of fabric. Just don't try it with leather.
