In honor of the debt ceiling deal reached by Congress and the White House yesterday, I've chosen the Sounds Like Bullshit To Me patch as the subject of today's post. You can see this white, red, and black patch in the Biker Sayings section. This morning I'm willing to bet that there are more than just bikers expressing this sentiment over the water cooler at work. My fellow Americans, we have once again been screwed by our leaders in Washington.
As just $2.99 plus tax, this is a patch you and I could buy by the dozen and pass them out to friends and family. In fact, I think this would make a great campaign slogan for an independent candidate who wanted to run for federal office. Imagine passing them out to all of your campaign supporters so they can wear them proudly on their t-shirts or jackets. What a statement to see an army of several hundred campaign volunteers l walking down the street proclaiming, "Sounds like bullshit to Me!" The imagination runs wild...
Anyway, this patch is small and light enough that you could apply it using a hot iron. The heat-activated glue will stick to cotton, polyester, and most other fabrics without a problem. If you would prefer to use a needle and thread, the patch has die-cut borders to help it to lay flat. So - Mr. Boehner, Mr. Reid, Mr. Obama, and all your little minions - this one's for you!
