Iron on Instructions: Use a Heat Press for 30 seconds set at 280 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Tips for Ironing on Patch: Plug in iron. Crank it to highest setting. Place iron on top of your garment with a frying pan thermometer sandwiched between iron and garment to start the preheating process. Once temperature reaches 280 Degrees Fahrenheit unplug your iron. Temperature will continue to rise and then start to decline. Once it declines to 280 Degrees Fahrenheit, Slide the iron, place your patch and press the iron on top of your patch as hard as you can for 30 seconds without moving the iron around. Do not mess with the patch until it has completely cooled down. A household iron will not work as good as a heat press. Do not iron on patches to Leather or Nylon. Watch Video

If you had to choose just one word to describe yourself, what would it be? If 'organic' was your answer, you are in luck. We have an iron-on patch with your name on it. Well, maybe not your literal name. But at least it has the word 'organic'.

The Organic iron-on patch is nothing fancy. It doesn't boast spectacular colors or detailed images. You will not find intricate shading or subtle symbolism so obscure that only old-time bikers understand it. Instead, you get a single word in white block letters against a black background.

Technically speaking, all of us could wear this patch. In the broadest definition of the term, we are all organic creatures. None of us were synthesized in a lab using artificial ingredients or processes. We are as organic as organic can be.

On the other hand, if your definition of being organic involves eating only organic food, sleeping on organic bedding, etc., you are part of a much smaller crowd. There aren't many in your group compared to the billions of people on the planet. But that's okay. What makes you who you are is what makes you unique.

As for the patch itself, we don't think it's organic. In fact, we know it's not. The embroidery consists of 100% rayon thread. The black background is a twill fabric. As for the rigid backing, it is more or less a plastic material with a layer of heat activated glue.

You can attach this embroidered patch to a piece of clothing with a hot iron. We still recommend needle and thread, especially if you are working with leather. Hot irons and leather don't like one another. You wouldn't have a very organic experience if your jack at or vest were damaged by the high heat.
