Eagle Embroidered Patches for Biker Jackets & Vests

If you look at a lot of motorcycle riders? jackets, you'll probably see a good number of eagle patches like a Brown Upwing Eagle Patch.  Some of them are fairly large and take up the entire back of the vest or jacket, while some, like this little eagle, are a little smaller and may even fit on the sleeve or the front of the jacket.

The eagle stands for many different things.  To Native Americans, it is one of the most important animals.  The eagle stands for victory and personal power.  It rules the skies and can mean freedom or having a strong mission.  Many tribal ceremonies or decorations involve eagle feathers.  To the ancient Greeks, the eagle was a symbol of Zeus, the ruler of the gods.  It was also associated with power and ruling.

While there are a number of other myths and beliefs that use the eagle as a symbol, it is also one of the symbols of the United States.  The bald eagle appears on Great Seal of the United States where it holds an olive branch in one claw and arrows in the other.  This seal appears on passports and many other official documents.  Many bikers who are veterans wear eagle patches to denote their dedication to their country.

In fact, you can even do your entire jacket in eagle patches.  There are so many different ones available that you are sure to find a few you'll like.  These patches look great when combined with other patriotic patches, too.
