Forget about running the iron back and forth; a steady hand works best here. Use a frying pan thermometer to make sure your iron reaches the right temperature, as most irons don’t have accurate temperature settings.
Important Tip: Don’t Iron on Leather or Nylon
Always remember, never iron directly onto leather, nylon, or any other heat-sensitive materials. These fabrics can get damaged under high heat. If your jacket or vest is made from leather, sewing the patch on is the safest option. Luckily, all our patches have die-cut borders that make sewing them on a breeze.
